COTTON GIN BURNT.—We learn that the cotton gin of Mr. Wm. Y. Chiles, near Springfield, in Greene county, Ala., was burnt on the morning of the 16th. About twelve or fourteen bales of cotton were consumed. The fire was caused, it is said, by friction
