R. B. REAGAN, editor of the Arcadia Valley Enterprise, a weekly newspaper published at Ironton, was attacked with a horsewhip recently just after he had left his office by J. N. HAWKINS, circuit clerk of Iron county, whose official conduct had been criticised editorially in the Enterprise. Mr. HAWKINS is 75 years old and is small of stature, while REAGAN, who is about 35 years of age, is an athlete. HAWKINS was struck to the ground, but delivered several blows after he fell.
