Description: Letta Cigars

Date: June 4 1880

Newspaper published in: Cairo, IL

Page/Column: 4/2

In Golconda, a day or two ago, we were offered a "Letta" cigar which, we were informed, was named after Miss Letta CORLIS, the daughter of Mr. George CORLIS, of this city. The lid of the box which contains these cigars is graced with a handsome picture, said to be that of Miss Letta, and we were confidentially informed that it was to get a sight of it that caused the great demand for the cigars. It is an excellent five cent cigar and a general favorite along the Ohio, between Golconda and Paducah.
