Hon. Paul C. Cameron died Wednesday at Hillsboro, N. C., aged eighty-three. He was the wealthiest citizen of the State. He had occupied many positions of trust, and had been president of the North Carolina railroad, director of several banks, railroads, etc., was a large planter in Alabama, Mississippi, and North Carolina, and was the largest stock holder in the cotton mills at Augusta and N. C.
