Southern News Notes
There was a terrible boiler explosion a McLarkin’s Mill, near Caledonia, Wilcox County, Ala. The explosion was caused by an imperfect safety valve. The boiler crashed through the mill and sped along close to the ground for 400 feet, and finally buried itself in the earth.
