Died on Thursday last, Robert GWIN, Esq. a representative in the General Assembly of Tennessee from the county of Green, after an illness of several weeks. On the same day, his death was announced, and a joint resolution of both Houses passed, to wear crape on the left arm for the space of thirty days, as a tribute of respect to the deceased. On the succeeding day, his remains were intered with Masonic honors, attended by the Executive, the members of the General Assembly, and many of the citizens of the place.
