O'Neal Jones, the 17-year-old son of Rufus Jones, of Victoria, Marshall county, was foully murdered by having his head cut open with an ax, last week. The crime was committed at the Jones store near Baily Campgrounds. The body of the murdered boy was found about 8 o'clock in the morning and was still warm, showing the deed was committed but an hour or so before. Robbery was evidently the design of the fiend.
