Married in Arkansas
The Arkansas Beacon, Searcy, May 29, has the following:
“MARRIED. WARD—KEY—At 7 o’clock P.M. Wednesday, May 27th, 1885, at the residence of the bride’s father, Mr. J. T. Key, three miles west of Searcy, by Rev. E. A. Garrison, Mr. J. J. Ward and Miss Bettie Key. We take great pleasure in extending to this young couple our hearty congratulations and best wishes for their future happiness. Mr. Ward is one of Searcy’s most worthy and successful business men, while Miss Bettie is one of he acknowledged belles of the community.”
Mr. James Ward, the groom, is a native of Huntsville and has hosts of friends here who read of his good fortune with great pleasure.
