The Washington Star says that the Alabama congressional and senatorial delegation have decided to endorse the following applications:
Willis G. Clark, for Collector of the port of Mobile; John D. Burnett, District Attorney for the Southern district; Wm. H. Denson, District Attorney for Middle and Northern districts; A. H. Keller, for Marshal of the Northern district; W. W. Allen, for Marshal of the Middle and Southern district; John G. Harris, for Register of the Land Office at Montgomery; Mr. Jordan, of Bullock county, for Receiver of Public Money in the Land Office of Montgomery; Frank Coleman, for Register of the Land Office at Huntsville; J. Street, for Receiver of Public Money at Huntsville; Mr. Bookar [sic: Booker?] of Greensboro, for Collector of Internal Revenue.
