Description: Maj. Screws Mentioned for Congress

Date: June 18 1891

Newspaper published in: Hartselle, AL

Source: Madison County, AL Library

Page/Column: Page 2, Column 2

Maj. Wallace W. Screws the able and well known editor of the Montgomery Daily Advertiser has been mentioned as the successor of Col. Herbert in the Second District. He is well fitted for the office and we feel no hesitancy in saying no man is more deserving or has done more for the Democratic Party in the State than he has. The ENQUIRER would be delighted to greet him as Congressman Screws.
