A New Candidate
Hon. J. R. McLendon, of Montgomery County, is a candidate for commissioner of Agriculture. He is the famous one-armed farmer, who walks off with all the prizes at the fairs with his display of the products of a single farm.—Age-Herald.
The Enquirer is of the opinion that such a practical and energetic farmer as Hon. J. R. McLendon is the man to fill the office of Commissioner of Agriculture. He is a success as a farmer and has the ability to discharge the duties of the office.
