OVER THE STATE
Mr. B. C. Epperson, superintendent of the Mobile and Montgomery division of the Louisville & Nashville railroad, of Montgomery, issued the following order to the employees of his road: “It is observed that the employees of this company, are in the habit of frequenting drinking saloons, and the natural inference it that they must be drinking. This is to give notice that employees found in saloons will be dealt with the same as those who drink, and a continuance of this practice will be considered as sufficient cause for discharge from the service.
B. C. EPPERSON, Supt.”
