Robert Brickell, Peter Hamilton and J. E. Cobb, three splendid lawyers are suggested for our next candidates for supreme judge.—Moulton Advertiser.
Aunt Katy Holmes of this place died in Courtland on Thursday last, aged about 62 years. She had gone down to Courtland on a business trip and to visit the grave of her husband who preceded her to the spirit world several years ago, Aunt Katy had many warm friends in Moulton whose hearts were made sad on the announcement of her death. She leaves no lineal descendants. Mrs. Holmes died of consumption at the residence of Mrs. Wm. Hall, where every attention was shown her.--Moulton Advertiser.
