By virtue of a Mortgage executed to me by Samuel Penny and Emily Penny, and recorded in Mortgage Book No. 15, page 596, in the office of the Judge of Probate of Madison County, I will sell, for cash, in front of the Court House door of said county, on the 18th day of December, 1885, within hours of legal sale, the following land lying in said county of Madison, to-wit: The s e ¼ of the n w ¼, of the s w ¼ of the n e ¼ of sec 4 t 4, range 1 east, containing 80 39-100 acres.

vs. John C. Ennis and wife et als, Defendants,
November Term, 1885
In this cause it appearing to the satisfaction of the Chancellor from the affidavit of the complainant appended to the Original Bill, that the defendants, John C. Ennis and his wife, Sarah A. Ennis, William H. Spaulding, John R. Spaulding; Christeny Miller and her husband, Robert Miller, are non-residents of the State of Alabama, in the State of Texas.
It is ordered that said defendants cause their appearance to be entered, and to plead, answer or demur to the complainant’s original bill of complaint, on or before the Fourth Monday in December, 1885, or the same will be taken pro confesso against them.
It is further ordered, that this order be published for four weeks in succession in the HUNTSVILLE INDEPENDENT, a newspaper, published in Huntsville, in said district, the first insertion to be made without delay, that a copy be posted at the Court House door in Huntsville, and one forwarded by mail to each of said defendants within twenty days from this date.

UNDER AND BY VIRTUE OF A mortgage, for value received, made and executed by J. J. Price and Mary A. Price, to J. W. Steel and wife, and recorded October 29, 1877, in Book No. 2, Page 77 of the records of the Probate Court of Madison County, Alabama, the undersigned will proceed to sell to the highest bidder, for cash, in front of the Court House door in Huntsville, Alabama, within legal hours of sale, on Monday, December 28, 1885, the following descried real estate lying and situate in Madison county, State of Alabama, and more fully described as follows, to-wit: The west half of Section twenty-nine (29), Township one (1) Range (1) west, containing three hundred and twenty-six (326) acres, more or less.
