Col. J. L. Sheffield is [in] town this week attending court, we are always glad to have him call on us, makes us feel our importance to have men of preeminence call on us, anyway.—Guntersville Democrat.
Judge Wyeth brought to our office this week a stalk of old fashioned mustard, raised on Sand Mountain which was thirty inches high from the ground up. Beat this if you can I the world at large.—Guntersville Democrat.
