Rehoboth Beach, Delaware January 16, 1950 :

Fred Charles Hill, age 57, retired lighthouse keeper for the Coast Guard of Cape Henlopen, died in Beebe Hospital Sunday

night following a stroke. He was a 32nd degree Mason. His wife, former Hannah Mary Palmer, who he married 21 July 1914,

preceded him in death. She was daughter of Frank S. and Emma P. Palmer of Milton. Fred is survived by his father , Edward S.

Hill of Rehoboth, three brothers, John Wiltonn Hill of Tucson, Edward of Rehoboth, William Plummer Hill of Baltimore, five

sisters, Ruth of

Tucson, Mrs William Byrd and Mrs. Andy MacDonald, both of Baltimore, Mrs Harry Frazer of Lewes, and Mrs George Wilhelm of

Philadelphia. Fred Charles Hill is buried in Rehoboth Epworth Methodist Cemetery.
