Lewes Delaware 24 July 1952 ;

Funeral services were Friday, July 25, 1952 , at Melsons for Charles Alonzo Wilson age 81. He was born in Sussex county 14 January 1871 to Major Hammond Wilson and Sarah elizabeth Webb Wilson. A life lone resident of Lewes he was a physicians attendant at Beebe Hospital 30 years and there he died Tuesday afternoon, a patient for three weeks. Mr. Wilson was also
a physicians attendant at the Cape Henlopen Naval hospital prior to and during WW I. Rev. A Edward Dougherty of Bethel Church
Lewes officated with burial in Bethel Methodist Cemetery, Lewes. Surviving are his wife, Linda Bell Lodge Wilson, who he married
12 October 1896, a daughter Alberta of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, two sisters Mrs George Warren of Philadelphia and Mrs Edward Wyatt, Sr., of Lewes, brother Marshall Wilson of Lewes. He also had a daughter Myrtle, who died in 1903 at age 5.
