Probably the biggest ox in the State is now in a stall at the Southern warehouse. The ox was raised by Mr. J. H. Chambers who owns him now. He weighs 1710 pounds on his feet, and can hardly be called in good order. To say the least, he likes a great deal of being fat. Mr. Chambers thinks the ox would weigh 3,000 pounds with the big fat on. In color the big ox is dark red of cherry. He is a sight worth seeing and will be on exhibition at the State Fair. He will wear the ribbon as the largest Alabama raised ox.—Montgomery Advertiser.
