Moultrie, Ga. Dec. 2.— In Colquitt superior court a compromise was reached in the damage suit of Mrs. Mary A. McTeer against the Tifton, Thomasville and Gulf road, the defendant agreeing to pay $1,900. The proposition to compromise was made by the road’s attorneys when the evidence for the plaintiff had all been put in. Mrs. McTeer was suing for $32,200 as mother and dependent of J. T. McTeer, who was killed on a street crossing here Sept. 1901.
