Rev. Andrew Turner, a Baptist minister of Juliaetta, died in that village a week ago at the advanced age of 85 years.


The funeral of Mrs. Carrie Oleson who died at Lewiston several days ago was held this afternoon, Rev. Robt. Warner officiating.


The funeral of Mrs. Etta Madison will be held Wednesday [November 24]. Mrs. Madison was a sister of Mrs. J.W. Mc--- [can't read] and Mrs. O.W. Schirtz.


Among recent deaths is that of William F. Allen, of South Orange, N.J., aged 69. He was the inventor of that system of "standard time" which is now in use throughout the United States. His idea was adopted by railroads and generally by everybody, 32 years ago.


About one year ago Mrs. Dora B. Starner of Princeton filed suit against William S. Starner for divorce, alleging cruelty. Later the charge was withdrawn. Friday the husband filed suit for divorce alleging desertion. They were married in Crawford county, Wisconsin, in 1908 and have a daughter aged 7, residing with her mother. The property rights have been adjusted out of court.
