Elsmore [Tufts], the four-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Tufts, died at a local hospital Tuesday afternoon [December 21] of pneumonia. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Robt. Warner at Grice's chapel and the body shipped to Garfield for interment. The lad was a great favorite with everybody who knew him and his death is a great grief to his parents and to his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Averill of Garfield.
