On Saturday [January 30], Wm. Keeney, a young man nineteen years of age, was taken before the probate court and adjudged as to his sanity. He was found to be completely off his balance over religion and was committed to the asylum at Orofino. He is the son of W.A. Keeney of Joel.
Last Friday Halvor Olson of Genesee, filed his petition in the district court to become a citizen of this country. He is a native of Norway and came to America in 1905.
Harold W. Davis, of Pullman, has been appointed administrator for the estate of Mary E. Davis, deceased. This is one of the largest estates entered, for probate in Latah county. The deceased besides having an estate valued at about $115,000 in the state of Washington, owned 336 acres of land in Latah county; 640 acres in Idaho county and large tracts in Nez Perce county.
