Josiah Crawford aged 85 years, died last night of old age at the home of one of his seven sons, being one of the oldest citizens of the Pecos valley. He was a native of Georgia and fought four years in the civil war as a member of a pioneer company under General Bell in the confederate army. Six of his seven sons live in Roswell.
