Sweet Bread to be on Sale Saturday

Those who love good Portuguese sweet bread will find the Alexander House Settlement a veritable paradise Saturday mornig. For Girl Scout Troop 29, under MISS VALMA PURDY, is holding a sweet bread sale that morning in the Settlement offices.
There will be nothing else on sale save the bread, and the girls are hoping that everyone in that district will take home at least one loaf for the weekend. sweet bread, by the way, makes utterly luscious cinnamon toast to nibble with one's afternoon tea, good enough to crowd out the very rainiest day "blues".
The sale will begin promptly at 9 a.m.
