ARMINE VON TEMPSKY Tells Further Plans

Two more novels with the scenes laid in Hawaii are planned by ARMINE VON TEMPSKY, Maui's novelist, according to news dispatches from the mainland. She told of her plans at a luncheon tendered her by the Sequoia Club in San Francisco. Then she will turn her attention to other fields of location, about which to weave her stories, at least for the time.
Following her completion of the books on Hawaiian life, ARMINE VON TEMPSKY announced she will attempt one on California life.
As a means of gathering material for her California novel, MISS VON TEMPSKY said she intends to live on a houseboat on San Francisco Bay off Sausalito, where the muses are known to have been wooed by FRANK NORRIS, JACK LONDON, and is now the home of FREDERICK O'BRIEN, the author of the famous South Sea book, "White Shadows of the South Seas".

ALFRED HANSEN, luna of the H. C. & S. Company, is enjoying his annual vacation.
