Description: Geaton Transferred To Santa Fe

William S Geaton, who was convicted at the present term of court in Roswell of the brutal murder of Henry Jones and sentenced to the peniteniary for life, was taken to Santa Fe by Sheriff Higgins. The prisoner was heavily ironed and his neck was chained to the neck of William Bullo who was given one year for robbery. James Brown, an 18 year old boy, who was given three years for horse stealing was taken to Santa Fe at the same time.
