WHEREAS THOMAS WRIGHT, by trade a ropemaker, born in Warington, England from which he has been absent upwards of twenty years, but resided at Edenton, North Carolina about eight years since, is entitled to a handsome Legacy by the death of a relation; if the said THOMAS WRIGHT is now living and will authenticate the same and send an certificate of his age and place of abode to GEORGE and THOMAS VOES ? {looks like VOES to me } of Warington in the space of twelve months from the date hereof, the said Legacy will be paid, otherwise the money will be disposed of in a different manner.
Any person knowing the said THOMAS WRIGHT and will give information , if living, if dead upon application to MR. WILLIAM KENYON, Merchant, New York of JOHN TEASDALE, Charles-town, the intelligence will be gratefully acknowledged and handsomely rewarded.
