Burglars Carried Off Office Safe.
Middleburg, Pa., June 9. Early in the morning burglars broke into The Post printing office, owned by GEORGE W. WAGONSELLER, hauled the safe out of the office and removed it to a field in the rear of the county jail, where they broke it open, ransacked the contents and took with them a bundle of papers consisting of a few railroad passes and some promissory notes. They secured no money and the notes are not negotiable.

Murdered in his Store.
Moorhead City, N.C., June 9. ELIJAH WEEKS, a merchant and prominent citizen of Bogue Post Office , this county, was murdered and robbed Wednesday night. Mr. WEEKS was sleeping in his store, where he was found in the morning with a rope drawn tightly around his neck. It is supposed the robbers secured some money. Suspicion points to men in the neighborhood, one of them a Negro.
