Description: Jealousy Helping Justice (Wellbaum)

Date: February 12 1880

A cattle hearder named WELLBAUM was not long ago murdered in Lincoln county and his body thrown into a well. Jealousy has just brought the murderers to light. Two of the gang concerned with the crime were in love with a squaw named Lucy, described as very fascinating and bewitching, the belle of the Indians of the Pahranagat Valley. The squaw was living with one of the men, and the other, to secure her for himself, caused his rivals arrest on the charge of murdering WELLBAUM.
