Milton, Del., Monday, April 30, 1962:
Funeral services for Sinclair C. Campbell, Jr., 42 year of age, will be held at the William M. Short Funeral Home, Milton. The Rev. Harold Davis, pastor of the Elkton Methodist Church will officiate. Mr. Campbell died Saturday in Beebe Hospital , Lewes, from injuries received in an automobile accident. He waa proprietor of the Waples Lumber Company, Milton. He saw service in World War II in both Africa and Europe. He was a member of the Milton Post 18 American Legion, Broadkill Post Veterans of Foreign Wars 2984, Endeavor Lodge, AF&AM, Delaware Consistory, and the Kent-Sussex Scotish Rite Club. He was also a member of the Milton Chamber of Commerce, the Civil Air Patrol, and the Broadkill Sportsman Club. Mr. Campbell was the son of Nell Waples Campbell and the late Sinclair C. Campbell, Sr., Masonic service will be held this evening at the funeral home. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Eleanore Lank Campbell, of Milton. The family suggest that as memory tribute of the deceased donations may be sent to heart or cancer societies.
