Description: Obituary of Williamson PLANT.

Date: February 12 1887

Newspaper published in: St. Louis, MO

Greenville, Ill., February 11.--This morning, while sitting in a chair by his fireside, Williamson PLANT quietly passed away. His death was not altogether unexpected, as he has been a great sufferer from a complication of liver troubles for several years. During his long life he has always been prominent in Bond County affairs, and has held many public offices, chief of which was the Sheriff's office, which he occupied several terms. He was Secretary of the St. Louis, Vandalia and Terre Haute Railroad from its organization in 1854 to the present date.
