The two articles relay the same details except for the spelling of "Clorinda" (Clarinda) and the fact that Amanda is the "2d." Her parents were named Moses K. and Patty SOULE, so perhaps Amanda was named after a grandmother.]

To the Editor of the National Era:
Dear Sir: Will you please publish the following Obituary notice, and oblige a disconsolate father?

Nathaniel SOULE.

Clorinda M. SOULE, died on the 25th day of October, 1851.
Olive S. SOULE, died on the 28th of October, 1851.
Amanda M. F. SOULE, 2d, died on the 11th of November, 1851.
Minerva A. SOULE, died on the 2d day of December, 1851. All of the milk sickness.
