J.T. Hunt Attends Family Reunionthe following is an account of a family reunion of the Hunt Family recently held at their old home in Tennessee. This account is taken from the Holbert, Tennessee paper.
At the residence of Esq. John Hunt, near Eldad, last Saturday, July 3rd, was held a reunion for all the Hunt and Bass relatives. Esq. Hunt’s wife (deceased) was Miss Nannie Bass.
Miss Fannie Hunt, hostess, was ably assisted in receiving by her two sisters, Mrs. Luther Hunt and Mrs. Adolphus Foust.
Esq. Hunt’s sisters and brothers were all present, viz: Dr. Robert Hunt of Gibson; J.T. Hunt of Olney; Willis Hunt of Dyersburg; Mrs. John Tucker of Baton Rouge, LA; Mrs. Stephen Robinson of Memphis. Others present not living in the Eldad neighborhood were: Attorney Riley McHaney, wife and children of Conway, Ark.; Will Foust, of Henry, Tenn.; Mrs. Lee Strayhorn, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Morse, Mrs. Riley Taylor of Milan; Mrs. Lillit Duke, Mrs. Walter Sander, son of Jonesboro, Ark.; Mrs. Jim Campbell, Humboldt; Mrs. Addie Matthews, Trenton; Mr. and Mrs. Willis Hunt, Dyersburg; Mr. and MRs. Walter Hunt and children; Mrs. Orrin Hunt, Fruitland; Mr. and Mrs. Von Fly, Mrs. Frank Bass, Mr. and Mrs. Luther Hunt, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hunt, Dr. and Mrs. Robert Hunt, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Morris, Miss Irene James, Gibson; Mr. and Mrs. Zack Coleman and children, Fruitland.

Conflicting Reports on McCluskey Well
Latest Report is 1,400 barrels daily while other reports says only 400
Graham, Texas, July 21 - The Panhandle-McCluskey well was drilled two feet deeper in the sand this morning and it has increased its flow to 1,400 barrels and is flowing steadily. The drill is now six feet in the sand. The pipe line run was 1,000 barrels each yesterday and today. The Panhandle Company is erecting its second rig 300 feet west of the well and will be ready to drill within the next few days - Dallas News

Miss Edith Yates of Wichita Falls is visiting her sister, Mrs. George Hamilton.
Dr. Lindley, prominent physician in Archer City, was shot by J.J. Newman in Archer City Monday afternoon and is in serious condition. A shotgun loaded with number four shot was used and the load struck the doctor in the base of the brain. We are told that he has a fair chance to recover.

There is a kind of family reunion at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L.S. Paschall of Olney this week, there being as their guests: C.P. Paschall of Stone Point, Van Zandt County.
Joe Dunagan of Devol, Okla spent the weekend with homefolks.
Misses Cecile and Ethel Courtney of the Shearer neighborhood were in town.
Miss Verba Suttle is to make her home with Mr. and Mrs. D.R. Willard near Olney.
Mrs. Jack Wilborn is at her old stand in Stephens, Roach’s dressmaking department.
John Meaders of Breckenridge visited his brother, W.L. Meaders this week.
Mr. and Mrs. Oglesby of Coolidge are visiting their daughter, Mrs. Joe Head.
James Henry Atchley, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Atchley is sick.
Miss Jimmie B elle Atchley is visiting her sister, Mrs. Nora Wright, at Shinola.

Mrs. Pearl Strong of Gunson, Miss., has been visiting her mother, Mrs. D.W. Whitt.
Arthur Ward, of Shearer community, suffered the loss of one eye last week, caused by a wire hitting him in the eye while he was letting down some wire fence for a thresher to pass over.
