Burk Paschall was here from Breckenridge to visit. Burk says that Breckenridge is getting too tough for a home town.
O.T. Anderson returned Friday from a visit to Kerrville and San Antonio. Mrs. Anderson and Morris Hannis stayed for a visit.
Mrs. Annie Mae Ward of Lindale, Texas is visiting Mrs. J.B. Lasater.
Mrs. Lizzie Ivy of Ralls, Texas is visiting her daughter and son, Mrs. J.J. Eagan and Mr. Dallas Ivy.
Charles P. Nance was here from Duncanville, Dallas County, on a visit to his daughter, Mrs. George Stowe and seeing his many Olney friends. Mr. Nance is a Joe Bailey supporter.
Farewell Party to J.B. Wear Family
Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Wear, Miss Louise and J.B. Wear were guests of honor at the Methodist church.
Rev. Burton and Rev. Dunn spoke a word of appreciation.
At one time Mr. Wear served as Superintendent of the Sunday School. At that time the church was in the South part of town.
Mr. Wear served as a teacher and steward.
Mrs. Wear being a member of the Missionary Society.
Miss Louisa has only been with us a short time but to know her is to love her.
Miss Fannie Noah gave some music, also Miss Sallie Lee Patterson and Miss Johnnie Rodgers.
Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Blewett presided at the punch bowls.
Miss Grave Rogers returned from Fort Worth from a visit to her father.
George Rice and family returned from Colorado.
pat Wood was able to leave for his home in Graham after surgery at the Hamilton Sanitarium.
Rev. T.A. McCracken left for Stamford to visit his sister, Mrs. J.T. Brown and then will return to his home in Oklahoma after the revival in Olney.
Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Lasater spent the weekend in Bellevue.
Mr. and Mrs. Dix Leberman left Monday for Fort Worth.

“Kid” Leath is visiting in Fort Worth.

L.C. Ketcham and Kibbie Gragg left Monday for El Paso, where Mr. Ketcham has accepted a position in a bank. Kibbie goes on to Carlsbad, N.M. to visit his uncle.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Lemons have moved into their new bungalow in North Olney and Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Maxwell are occupying the place from which they moved, near the Linzy Hotel.
The new concrete culvert at the intersection of Main Street and Grand Avenue has been completed and it is a fine piece of work and added materially to the appearance of that street crossing.
John Fore and daughter, Miss Thora and Ed McDonald of Wichita Falls, also Mrs. C.L. Taylor of Archer City are visitors of Mr.a nd Mrs. W.A. Simmans this week.

South Bend, Young County is Truly a Clean Resort
We found the Clear Fork was actually a bathing beach densely populated with belles from Breckenridge, Graham, Mineral Wells and Wichita Falls, of course accompanied sparsely by young men or old men noticeable only in the company they were in for their skinny ugly legs.
