Dr. G.H. KRIESCHBAUM has gone to Seat, W.T., to take a look at the country. If it suits him he will probably conclude to locate there.
A pleasure party consisting of Misses Ada and Ida GREENHALGH, and Rosa STASAL and Messrs. C.L. BROWN and A. LAUGHERY left Jackson last Tuesday morning on a trip to the Big Trees.
George BOARMAN had his right arm below the elbow badly mashed while at work at the Morgan mine a few days ago by being caught under a descending bucket. No bones were broken however.
At a regular semi-annual meeting of Plymouth Hook and Ladder Co., held in Plymouth, June 28th, 1883, the following officers were elected for the ensuing term: President, E.M. BRACE; Foreman, John MILLER; Assistant Foreman, J.J. EXEL; Secretary, A.E. LUTNESKY; Treasurer, F.H. THOMS; Trustees, R.H. DUNCAN, Lazard COBLENTZ and R.M. GILMORE; Warden, Robert WADDELL.
