In Jackson, April 23rd, to the wife of J. MATTLEY, a daughter.

MARRIED
In Lincoln, Placer county, April 23rd, 1893, Mr. Ed KAY to Miss Sadie DIPPEL, both of Jackson.
(Upon the return of the happy couple to their home in Jackson, they were serenaded by the band and given a cordial welcome and hearty congratulations by a large number of their friends and acquaintances.)

In Amador City, April 27th, 1893, Mr. Thomas RICHARDS to Miss Carrie HAMBLY.
(The happy couple visited Jackson the same day in company with Mr. George RICHARDS, M. ARDITTO and Misses Lizzie and Nellie HAMBLY where a fine wedding dinner was prepared for the occasion at the Central hotel.)

DIED
In Jackson, April 25th, 1893, Casper HARTMAN, a native of Germany, aged about 41 years.
Deceased was an industrious and highly respected citizen, but had been for several months afflicted with that dreadful disease, consumption, which was the cause of his death. He leaves a widow and a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn his loss. He was buried in the Catholic cemetery last Thursday morning.
