Wellington, NV, 11 Jul - Pfc. Kenneth K. NEDDENREIP, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.D. NEDDENREIP of Wellington, was killed in action in Italy on 26 Jul his parents were informed by the war department this week.
A native of Smith Valley, Pfc NEDDENRIEP entered the army 7 Dec 1942 and after training at several camps in this country, was sent overseas eight months ago and fought with the Fifth Army in the Italian Campaign.
On the same day that his parents received word of his death they received a letter from him dated 21 Jul in which he was going back to the front after spending a few days at rest camp.
He was a graduate of the Smith Valley High School and was associated with his father in ranching prior to entering the service. Besides his parents he leaves one brother, Virgil of Weeks, NV ad sisters Louise of Wellington and Gloria of Stewart, NV.
