Died-At the residence of John Sage, 12 miles Northeast of Woodston, Friday 30th ult., in the 16th year of her age-Mary M. daughter of Amos J. and Eliz H. Thompson, the former passing over the river many years ago.
Mary was our "baby" sister, being one of twins Martha dying in infancy; she was never healthy, but we hoped to keep her many years; however, it pleased God to call her home, and He only can comfort the dear old, sorely stricken Mother heart, to whose teaching is due the fact that May was in Jesus and a praying member of the U.B. Church.
God keep her.
"There is no death; the stars go down
To rise upon a fairer shore,
And bright in heaven's jeweled crown
They shine for evermore."
