AHERNE—Killed in action on Nov. 13th, 1916, Pte. Joe Aherne, Royal Fusiliers (Sportsmen's Battalion), eldest and dearly-loved son of Mary Aherne and the late William Aherne, 46 Barret's Buildings. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing mother, sister, and brother.

AHERN—Previously reported missing, now reported killed in action in France on the 7th July, 1916, John Ahern, aged 19 years, Royal Sussex Regiment, late of Irish National Volunteers, youngest son of the late John Ahern and Mrs. Anne Ahern, Corban Square, Military Road, Cork. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing mother, sister, brother and brother-in-law. R.I.P. Sadly missed and deeply mourned.
