LAYTONVILLE LADY PASSES AWAY

Mrs Louisa Wilson died at her home in Laytonville last Wednesday morning, only a few hours after her husband had passed away. At the time of his death Mrs Wilson was unconscious, and when she regained consciousness, several hours later, she was told of her husband's death and said that she did not wish to live longer since he was gone. She died a short time afterward.

Louisa Piper was born in Smith county, Tennessee on December 15, 1827 and lived at that place until her marriage to Johnathan G. Wilson in 1853. In 1856 she crossed the plains with her husband and has lived at Laytonville since 1858.
