Description: Death Notice - Emmet Cannan

Roger Emmet Cannan, prominent resident of Gabbs, died suddenly Monday while visiting in Reno at the home of his mother, Mrs. Mary Cannan. Funeral services were held at St. Thomas Aquinas cathedral in Reno this morning and burial in Mater Dolorosa cemetery.

Mr. Cannon would have been 50 next March 16. he was born in Aspen, Colorado.

In addition to his widow, Mrs. Mabel Cannon, and son, and his mother, Mr. Cannan is survived by two brothers, Clyde of Reno and William of Gabbs; four sisters, Mrs. Harry Brown, Mrs. Erma Frederickson and Miss Rita Cannan, all of Reno; Mrs. Francis Bazinet of Hayward, California and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Cannan was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Reno.
