Horrible Death of a Brakeman

Norristown, Pa., Sept 5. Arthur McAVOR (McAvoy ?), a brakeman on the North Pennsylvania division of the Reading Railroad, met with a horrible death this morning at Lansdale. He fell between the cars of a moving freight train, but in his descent caught a piece of projecting iron, my means of which he was enabled to hold fast. In this position he was dragged for nearly 200 yards when his foot caught in a frog and he was compelled to let go, the foot being wedged in the frog. The wheels passed over his legs, crushing the bones and stripping off some of the flesh. He died soon afterwards.
