Eleanor Parker Campbell, 81, of Eastside Healthcare and Rehabilitation and formerly of Pearl died, Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009 at Eastside Healthcare Center.
She was born Nov. 25, 1927 in Boiler Field Cash River Ark. a daughter to Tulley and Bessie Fry Songer. She married Frank Parker in 1942 and he preceded her in death Oct. 3, 1981. She married Lonnie Campbell in 1985 and he preceded her in death.
Eleanor retired from the housekeeping department at the Eastside Healthcare and Rehabilitation. She greatly loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and enjoyed sewing, fishing, and ceramics.
Three daughters, Barbra Myers of Howard, Kan., Lori McDaniels, Pearl and Ellyn Neal of Edwardsville, survive her along with grandson, Tom Parker that was raised in her home. Also surviving are nine other grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two great grandchildren to be born.
Her husbands and one son, James E. Parker, preceded her in death.
Cremation rites are being accorded per her wishes. Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield, IL is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family at info@nieburfh.com
