MOTHER OF LAWSON BOYS OF THIS COUNTY SUCCUMBS AFTER OPERATION

Mrs. S. H. Lawson, a pioneer resident of the Anderson valley section in this county passed away at Santa Rosa last Sunday evening, following an operation for appendicitis. Her death came as a shock to the family, as they believed she was rallying nicely from the operation, but her heart failed under the shock.

Miss Martha H. Ingram was born in Edgar county, Ill., October 2, 1842, and migrated to California in 1858, settling in Anderson valley. She lived there until about ten years ago, when she and her husband moved to Santa Rosa, where they resided since. Mr. Lawson passed away in Sept. 1913.

She was the mother of eleven children, nine boys and two girls, all of whom survive her. They are: Amos, of New Pine Creek, Oregon; Daniel, Ed and Davenport, of Boonville; Charles and Will, of Point Arena; Jessie and Mercer of Petaluma; Oliver, of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. B. Rankin and Nellie Lawson of Santa Rosa. She is also survived by two brothers, Nathan Ingram of Petaluma and Cass Ingram of Boonville.

The relatives have the sincere sympathy of a multitude of friends.
