Mr and Mrs Ed Tracy spent Friday at the Frank Tracy home near Northfield.

Mrs Lester Erickson, Mrs Nels Fenne, Mrs James Golden and Mrs Wilfred Wilson gave a bridal shower at Hegre church Friday evening in honor of Mrs Arlend Vold.

Mr and Mrs George Flicek were in Rochester on business Friday.

Miss Lucille Bollenbach of Minneapolis spent the weekend with her parents, Mr and Mrs Harvey Bollenbach.

Ed Weckerling and son, Louis of Rochester spent Sunday with his father, Charles and attended the funeral of Dr Pieper.

Mr and Mrs Walter Adams of Hayfield were Sunday night supper guests of Mr and Mrs Wesley Hoist.

Mr and Mrs Louis Hoffman of Douglas and Mrs B C Grout of Riverside, Illinois, were Sunday visitors of Mrs Frank Hoffman.

Mr and Mrs Ed Bougie and family of St Paul spent Sunday at the Jay Myers home.

Mr and Mrs Magnus Langland and Mr and Mrs Oscar Swanson of Kasson, spent Saturday evening with Mr and Mrs Oliver Brekke.

Miss Lois Jean Nelson left Sunday for Rochester where she will be employed in the Mayo Clinic.

Mr and Mrs Francis Tracy and son, Pfc. Harlan tracy of Ro hester came for the funerla fo Dr Pieper, Sunday and called at the Ed Tracy home.

Mrs Charles Wheeler spent the weekend at the home of her son, Haven Zeller in Berne.

Mr and Mrs Woodrow Schlief and family were Sunday guests of the Roy Schlief family in Lewiston.

Mrs William Fisher and children, Genevieve and Billie, returned Thursday to their home here from Los Angeles where they had lived for about a year.

Mr and Mrs John McCracken of Kenosha, Wisconsin spent from Saturday till Tuesday at the E G Amundson home. Mr and Mrs Amundson took their guests to Minneapolis Monday for the day. Mrs William McCracken who has spent the summer here returned to Kenosha with them.

Sergeant Palmer Brekke arrived Sunday from Italy on a 35 day leave. He visited his mother, Mrs Julia Brekke and brother, Oliver.]

Mr and Mrs James Kutzler and Mr and Mrs Andrew Wilson left last week for Gull Lake, Canada to visit Robert Wilson for about ten days.

Mr and Mrs Si Leonard and children of St Paul called on Mr and Mrs Walter Severns and other relatives Sunday.

Cadet Nurse Doris Heley returned to her work at the U of M Sunday after spending two weeks at the home of her parents, Dr and Mrs James Heley.

Mr and Mrs Norman Anderson and children are enjoying a week's vacation with relatives in Lake Benton.

Pfc. Earl Howard returned home Saturday from Camp McCoy, Wisconsin where he received his dishcharge from military service.
