WASHINGTON JAIL DENTIST SUMMONED
WASHINGTON, Jan. 24 ((AP) – Charge with accepting valuable gifts from Harry F. Sinclair and Henry Mason Day, wealthy oil men, Albert E. Kling, Dentist in the District of Columbia jail, where the men were held, today was cited to appear before a special board of inquiry Saturday morning.
Captain M. M. Barnard, superintendent of district penal institutions, after an investigation, reported today that day gave Kling an automobile and that Sinclair had presented the dentist with a $150 wrist watch in exchange for what he said were special favors received while the oil men were serving sentences in the jail.
