MISSIONARY’S SON HELD ON CHARGE OF LARCENY
Bond in the sum of $200 was fixed by Judge KIMBALL in the case of Clarence SIMMS, when held for the grand jury today on several charges of grand larceny. He was unable to furnish bail and went to jail to await a hearing. SIMMS is said to be a son of a missionary in Baltimore.
It is charged by the police that SIMMS stole a watch and overcoat from J. L. GLASSCOCK, of 1815 Ninth street northwest, and a watch and signet ring from H. C. CALDWELL, of 221 East Capitol street northwest.
