Indicted Meat Packers Plea for Immunity Bath

Chicago, Jan. 19 Ogden Armour, Louis F. Swift and other meat packers under indictment for alleged violation of the Sherman antitrust law, will ask Judge Carpenter in the federal court for an immunity bath.
Pleas is made on the ground that immunity granted in 1906 precludes prosecution of the present charges.

Chicago, Jan. 19 Two girls humiliated at first by stealing furs, set fire to the jail at Lemont, Ill., where they were held and as a result one is dead and the other is in a critical condition.
They were accused of taking some wraps at a dance.
