Divorce Lines Drawn Too Tight
---------------------
Important Ruling Is Made In Case of Mrs. Sarah C. Ford
---------------------
Special to The Daily Times
Reno, Nev., Jan. 28 – In granting the defendant’s motion for non-suit for want of jurisdiction in the divorce of Sarah C. Ford, of Morristown, against Milton Ford, Judge John S. Orr, of the district court, yesterday drew more sharply than ever before, the lines which mark out what constitute a residence.
The court refused to accept Mrs. Ford as a resident of Nevada on the mere fact of a six months stay in an apartment house without acquiring property when she has a home, the decision says, in Morristown.
