Bride Just Laughs; But is Happily Married in Traveling Dress Despite Porch Climber’s Silent Visit

Sterling, Ill., Feb. 4 – Miss Elsie Deets and Frank Barts were married today, although he bride did not appear in the wedding gown that was made for the occasion.
Not only did the thief take the gown, but the diamond ring presented to the bride by the bridegroom several months ago, and also $60.
The bride and her husband reside at Maniles, Ill. Mrs. Barts is a daughter of Frank Deets, a farmer.
At the wedding the bride appeared in a traveling gown. This morning she state that the here loss of the gowns by a thief would not result in any postponement of the wedding and instead of crying, she took the affair as a big joke.
